Vases & Ceramics
Sculptural vases and handmade ceramics from small studios in Mexico and India. Al Centro Ceramica throws its vases in Guadalajara from blends of local clays, pigmented by the earth itself rather than colored glaze, so every firing sets its own tone. Osmos Studio reworks classic silhouettes - the ancient Harappan vessel, the contour vase - into modern sculptural forms. These are pieces made to hold branches and blooms, and to hold a room when they stand empty. Because each piece is formed and fired by hand, expect small variations in color and texture. That variation is the evidence of the process, and it is why no two are alike.
